John Stamos

Friend of The Village & Wheelhouse, John Stamos, took a beat from shooting BIG SHOT on Disney+ and performing with his friends The Beach Boys, to answer some of our questions about reentering real life and other bits of knowledge we had to know.

Q – What are you most looking forward to as part of reentering real life?

Live music with The Beach Boys.  We have to make up for lost time.  That saying “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” is so true.

Q – What was your greatest realization during quarantine?

The only silver lining, I got to spend time with my son that I otherwise would have missed if I was working. GRATEFUL.

Things that I thought were important are not.

We thought we had control of things. It turns out we don’t. We never had control.

Q – What and who would you want on a desert island?

If my beautiful wife is reading this: My wife and my son Billy.

If she’s not: A record player and the album, Endless Summer by The Beach Boys.

Q – Tell us the first answers that come to mind for these five random questions:

1.What would be your last meal?

Anything my mom cooked. (Miss her)

2. Thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I don’t kiss and tell.

3. Who was your first kiss?

See question 2.

4. Who taught you more than anyone?

My parents. My father, discipline, hard work, and to treat everyone equally. He owned fast food joints. I’d watch him treat the busboy with the same respect as he did his most valued customer. My mother had enough love to fuel a small country. She would pinpoint your best attributes and define you by that, not the negative. If you were lucky enough to encounter my mother, you always walked away feeling better about yourself. She didn’t take your energy. She filled you up with positivity.

5. If you weren’t an actor/singer what would you have been?

Brent Montgomery, only not as good looking.
