It Takes a Village

Friends, Partners & Villagers

Almost four years ago, we (Courtney & Brent) had the (perhaps crazy) idea to build The Village to highlight and serve the community of creators across Westchester and Fairfield Counties. As the project grew, we saw an influx of people leaving the city for a more spacious and suburban lifestyle while still seeking a Manhattan-like creative hub. Now in the heart of Stamford, we have a place that attracts a diverse group of people from the Tri-State Area.

The Village aims to be a catalyst where industry, culture, and community intersect and serves as a new destination for work and play, events and experiences. The Village is also home to world-class food & beverage, inclusive of the brand new waterfront dining concept, The Wheel, and cult-favorite Cisco Brewers out of Nantucket, both of which officially opened their doors last week! In addition to food and beverage, we’re focused on bringing core pillars across culture to life through artists in residency, events, workshops and more, with philanthropic initiatives being one of the most important. The Village has provided us with a platform to give back to the local community, which is already underway through our work with the Waterside School, Stamford Hospital and other organizations in the area.

In each monthly edition of our newsletter, we will introduce The Village community to the creators, movers and shakers who have helped shape The Village’s foundation and continue to add to its growth. They say, “if you build it, they will come…,” and it’s certainly taken a village to bring this space to life, and now that it’s officially open, we are so excited for you all to come 🙂
